The Sewing Shed is a purpose built room in a delightful country garden setting.
We run a variety of classes suitable for all levels of skill to make items for the home, yourself or as a gift for someone else.
We also sell hand-made items and kits to make up yourself or give as a gift, this includes easy sewing kits for beginners.
We also offer private tuition (prices on request) and gift vouchers.
Pam has over 30 years experience in the sewing trade, tutoring classes for overlockers, sewing machines, sewing machine speciality feet and accessories and also has a wealth of experience with craft items such as bags, machine quilting and patchwork. She worked for Janome, Brother and a leading needlecraft store throughout these years. The Sewing Shed has been purpose built for Pam to continue doing what she loves and sharing her boundless enthusiasm with others.
Sheila - Dressmaker
I passed my City & Guilds in dressmaking about 25 years ago, I have made a variety of items of clothing for men and women. I also enjoy other crafts such as Embroidery and Bobbin Lace.
I am very much looking forward to teaching my skills at The Sewing Shed.
