The Sewing Shed is a purpose built room in a delightful country garden setting. We run a variety of classes suitable for all levels of skill to make items for the home, yourself or as a gift for someone else. We also sell hand-made items and kits to make up yourself or give as a gift, this includes easy sewing kits for beginners' and can offer private tuition (prices on request) and gift vouchers.
Pam has over 30 years experience in the sewing trade, tutoring classes for overlockers, sewing machines, sewing machine speciality feet and accessories and also has a wealth of experience with craft items such as bags, machine quilting and patchwork. She worked for Janome, Brother and a leading needlecraft store throughout these years. The Sewing Shed has been purpose built for Pam to continue doing what she loves and sharing her boundless enthusiasm with others.
Sheila - Dressmaker
Sheila passed a City & Guilds in dressmaking about 25 years ago, and has made a variety of items of clothing for men and women. She enjoys embroidery and makes bobbin lace.
