Do I need to bring my sewing machine or overlocker?
Ideally you would bring your own machine as you may learn different ways to use it that you have not discovered yet.
If you choose not to bring your machine we have machines you can use, please advise us before the day if you wish to use our machines so we can be prepared.


Do I need to bring fabric?
You can either bring your own or buy from our selection, we have a wide variety of fabrics but you will have a larger choice from a fabric shop.
For dressmaking classes you will need to supply your own choice of fabric suitable for your project.


Do I need to bring anything else to the class?
You can bring a basic sewing kit of scissors, pins, marking pen, tape measure etc.
Matching thread if you supply your own fabric.
We supply tea/coffee/biscuits but you will need to bring your own lunch.
If extras such as bondaweb or wadding will be used on the class you are attending you can either bring your own or purchase from us on the day.
Most customers bring a pad and pen to take notes.


How many people do you have on a class?
We have an average of four people but can accommodate six, we like to keep the numbers to a minimum to ensure each customer gets individual attention.


What happens if I need to cancel at short notice?
If cancelled with less than 10 days notice the deposit is non-refundable or it can be carried over to another class.
If cancelling with more than 10 days notice the deposit will be refunded.

What can I expect from the class?
You will get expert tuition.
On most classes you will go home with a finished item.
An enjoyable day out with a little humour thrown in!
You will meet people with similar interests, maybe make a new friend or two.
